Ecologists appealed to the Government of Russia with the demand to stop the realization of extremely dangerous project on the construction of hydroelectric power plant.

Construction of  hydroelectric power plant there will lead to floding of all the pasture land located in the valley of Lower Tunguska and which is the natural habitat of wild and domestic deer. Deers are the main sustenence of the evenks.
