Minister of natural resourses and ecology of Russian Federation Yury Trutnev and Minister of preservation of the environment of China Czhou Shensyan signed a protocol of 3 session of the subcommittee on the conservation of the environment on 26 June 2008
The subcommittee was created 21 February 2006 in accordance with the agreement between the government of Russian Federation and Government of people´s republic of China upon establishment and maintaining of mechanism of regular meetings the govermnents of Russia and China.
During the session the parts summed up the achievments in the conservation of environment, listened to the reports of working groups on the prevention of contamination of environment and collaboration during the ecological emergencies, on monitoring and ptotection of transboard waters and on the conservation of the protected areas and conseravtion of biodiversity.
Yury Trutnev said that for the last two years the collaboration with Chinese government has been very successful. He added that there is complete agreement between two countries upon the major questions.
