On finishing the special session of board of governors UNEP Deputy chief of Ministry of foreign affairs RF Alexandr Yakovenko said that Russia will meet its engagements on Kyoto Protocol. He stressed that there is all the necessary instruments including regulatory framework.
Also Alexandr Yakovenko added that the general level of gas emmissions was reduced on 29,9 % compared to the year 1990 (basic) and that this reducing of emissions in Russia contributed to the reducing of anthropogenic interference with the climate system.
